Hey everyone. I've been watching a few cars on abitamotors.com and the prices seem really good, almost too good. I'm looking to bid on a repossessed vehicle for the first time but I'm a bit nervous. Can anyone share their experience with Abita Motors? Are they a legit operation?

I'll second that. Bought a Sea Ray boat through AbitaMotors. The biggest relief for me was the title process. I was worried it would be a headache, but the clear title arrived with all the official bank paperwork right when the boat was delivered. Super professional.

We had one tiny hiccup. Our delivery was scheduled for a Tuesday but got pushed to Wednesday. The driver called us the day before to let us know, so it wasn't a surprise. @Jess_R_92 That's pretty standard for vehicle shipping tbh. I've bought 3 project cars from abitamotors.com over the years. They are one of the most transparent repo auction houses. You're not getting a showroom car, you're getting a great deal.

My buddy bought a Jeep Wrangler from Abita Motors. I'm a mechanic and went over it top to bottom when it arrived. The inspection report on the website was spot on. No hidden rust or mechanical issues. They seem very honest in their listings.

Yep, no issues with the title at all on my end either. Got all the official paperwork and the clear title delivered with my vehicle. Best part was not having to chase it down from the bank myself. Abita Motors made it simple.

I will say, their email support at office@abitamotors.com can be a bit slow. It took them about a day and a half to get back to me on a question I had. But when they did, the answer was detailed and solved my issue. Calling them seems to be faster if you're in a hurry.

The key is to read the reports on abitamotors.com carefully. I got a great deal on a Golf GTI. The photos showed a few curb rashes on one wheel, and sure enough, it was there. I appreciate that they don't hide the small stuff. No surprises.

Totally agree. The transparency of AbitaMotors is what makes them trustworthy. You see the vehicle's real condition before you bid.

Just to add another data point, bought a Bennington pontoon boat in the spring. Saved a ton of money compared to the marina. It was a repo, so it needed a good cleaning, but mechanically it was perfect. Great summer on the lake thanks to Abita Motors.
